Lyra[1] est constellatio in caelo nocturno septentrionali, cuius nomen deductum est ab instrumento musico dei Orphei filius Apollinis proprio. Ea una ex octagintaocto constellationibus hodie definitis et Claudius Ptolemaeus inter XLVIII constellationes nominavit. Lyra non magna est, at faciliter potest observari, quod α-Lyrae est stella Vega, quae inter magis lucentes in caelo et pars Trianguli Aestivi.
