Aerarium est camera in quolibet aedificio quae pecuniam, gazam, aliasque res pretiosas continere potest. Exemplum recentioris aerariorum architecturae est vestibulum (porticus aerarius vulgo appellatum) in Cappella Sancti Georgii(en) apud Castellum Windesoriense situm, annis 1353 et 1354 aedificatum, proque aditu collegii novi ibi ab Eduardo III rege instituti adhibitum.[1]
