O awadhi (अवधी; 𑂃𑂫𑂡𑂲) é unha lingua hindi oriental da póla Indoaria falada no norte da India.[2][3] É falada principalmente na rexión de Awadh, no actual Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] O nome Awadh está conectado con Ayodhya, a antiga cidade que é considerada como o fogar natal de Śrī Rāma. Foi, xunto coa lingua braj bhasha, usada amplamente como lingua literaria antes de seren desprazadas polo hindustano no século XIX.[4]
