Horten stasjon er en jernbanestasjon under utbygging[1] i Horten kommune i Vestfold fylke. Stasjonen er planlagt åpnet i 2025[1] sammen med utbyggingen av dobbeltspor på jernbanestrekningen Nykirke - Barkåker.[2] Den ligger rett vest for åsen Adalsborgen, noe sørvest for dagens Skoppum stasjon, som skal legges ned når den nye linjen åpner.[2], og rett ved riksvei 19.

Flere mulige navn ble diskutert, blant annet «Horten stasjon Skoppum» og «Skoppum stasjon», men Bane NOR vedtok i 2020 at den nye stasjonen skal hete «Horten stasjon», etter ønske fra Horten kommune.[3]
Den nye stasjonen får innfartsparkering med opptil 600 parkeringsplasser, sykkelhotell og to oppvarmede venterom.[1]
Jernbanedirektoratet har bestemt[4] at det i fremtiden skal gå fire tog i timen på Vestfoldbanen. To av disse skal være ekspresstog til og fra Sandefjord og Tønsberg, som skal kjøre forbi stasjonene i Horten, Holmestrand og Sande uten å stanse. Det nye togtilbudet skal gjelde fra tidligst desember 2025.[4][5] Dette har vært kontroversielt. Horten stasjon skal bare betjenes av regiontog med endestasjon i Tønsberg og Drammen, og reisende må bytte tog i Drammen eller Tønsberg for å komme seg til flyplassene Gardermoen og Torp. Direktoratet begrunner avgjørelsen med at nærmere 80 prosent av de reisende på Vestfoldbanen mot Oslo går på toget fra Tønsberg og sørover.[5]
