മദ്രാസ് ടാക്കീസ്

ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ ചലച്ചിത്ര നിർമ്മാണ കമ്പനിയാണ് മദ്രാസ് ടാക്കീസ്. 1995 - ൽ തമിഴ് ചലച്ചിത്ര സംവിധായകൻ മണിരത്നവും, തമിഴ് ചലച്ചിത്ര അഭിനേത്രിയും മണിരത്നത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായ സുഹാസിനി മണിരത്നവും ചേർന്നാണ് ഈ കമ്പനി സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. ചലച്ചിത്ര, ടെലിവിഷൻ സീരിയലുകളുടെ നിർമ്മാണരംഗത്താണ് മദ്രാസ് ടാക്കീസ് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്. പതിനഞ്ചിലധികം ചലച്ചിത്രങ്ങളും ആറ് ടെലിവിഷൻ സീരിയലുകളും മദ്രാസ് ടാക്കീസിന്റെ കീഴിൽ നിർമ്മിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.

മദ്രാസ് ടാക്കീസ് സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിനു മുൻപ്, ആലയം പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻസ് എന്ന നിർമ്മാണ സംരംഭത്തിനു കീഴിൽ എസ്. ശ്രീറാമിനോടൊപ്പം മണിരത്നം ചില ചലച്ചിത്രങ്ങളുടെ നിർമ്മാതാവായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു. 1997 - ൽ മോഹൻലാൽ, പ്രകാശ് രാജ്, ഐശ്വര്യ റായ് എന്നിവർ അഭിനയിച്ച് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഇരുവർ ആണ് മദ്രാസ് ടാക്കീസിന്റെ കീഴിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച മണിരത്നം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ആദ്യത്തെ ചലച്ചിത്രം.
