Jankai – kaimas Kazlų Rūdos savivaldybėje, į šiaurės vakarus nuo Kazlų Rūdos, 15 km į rytus nuo Griškabūdžio, vakariniame Kazlų Rūdos miškų pakraštyje. Seniūnijos ir seniūnaitijos centras. Veikia Jankų pagrindinė mokykla, felčerių punktas, Kazlų Rūdos viešosios bibliotekos skyrius, paštas (LT-71029). Auga Vilniaus ąžuolas, kuriam vardą 1923 m. suteikė Jankų mokyklos I laidos mokinys Viktoras Ašmenskas.

Jankai yra asmenvardinis vietovardis, sudarytas iš asmenvardžio Jankus, Jankis daugiskaitos.[2]
Kaimas minimas 1701 m. 1701–1830 m. kaimas minimas kaip Slabotka, nuo 1830 m. – Janki. XIX a. pabaigoje Jankai – kaimas Naumiesčio apskrities Tamošbūdžio valsčiuje, priklausęs Višakio Rūdos parapijai.[3]
1918 m. įkurtas Jankų valsčius.
Pokario metais apylinkėse veikė Tauro apygardos, Žalgirio partizanų rinktinės Lietuvos partizanai.
Sovietmečiu buvo kolūkio centrinė gyvenvietė.[4]
2014 m. liepos 7 d. Lietuvos Respublikos Prezidentė dekretu Nr. 1K-1889 patvirtino Jankų herbą.
