Subligaculum,[1] sive Subligar,[2] Graece ut videtur διάζωμα,[3] est vestimentum parvum ad inguina vel lumbos gestum. Temporibus Romanis gerebant gladiatores, athletae mimique, interdum viri, saepius feminae. Subligacula feminina Romana, e corio facta, e ruinis Londinii antiqui effodita sunt.[4]
