Regifugium vel Fugalia erant festum Romanum, quod die 24 Februarii (die ultimo anni Romuli antiqui, qui mense Martio inceperat) celebrabatur. Rex sacrorum in comitio victimam immolaverat et statim fugae se dedit[1]. Salii ritui aderant.
Ovidius[2] et Ausonius[3] hunc ritum fugae Tarquinii Superbi regis Romani ultimi memorandae causa fieri explicant, sed verisimilius lustrationis alicuius causa perficiebatur.
Die mensis pari (scilicet infelici) regifugium fiebat, sicut et Equirria; ceterae feriae publicae Romanae diebus mensis imparibus celebrabantur.
