Sialkot (urduksi سيالكوٹ, Siyālkoṭ) on kaupunki Pakistanin Punjabin maakunnassa. Sen asukasluku vuonna 2017 oli 592 604.
Sialkot sijaitsee Pakistanin Punjabin maakunnassa Sialkotin piirikunnassa. Kaupungin eteläpuolella virtaa Aik Nala -joki ja sen pohjoispuolella kohoavat Jammun kukkulat.[1]
Legendan mukaan Sialkotin perusti radža Sala, Mahabharatan Pandavasin setä. Myöhemmin radža Salivahanin sanotaan perustaneen sen uudelleen legendojen kuningas Vikramadityan valtakaudella.[1] Salivahanilla santotaan olleen kaksi poikaa, joista toinen oli nimeltään Puran. Puranin äitipuoli tappoi hänet kaivoon heittämällä ja tarinaan liitetty paikka on pyhiinvaelluskohde lähellä nykyistä kaupunkia. Punjabilaisissa myyteissä esiintyvä sankari Rasalun on sanottu hallinneen Sialkotissa.[2] Sialkot on liitetty joskus myös muinaiseen Sakalan kaupunkiin, joka oli kreikkalais-baktrialaisen Menandrosin ja hefthaliittihallitsija Mihirakulan pääkaupunki.[1]
Kaupunki ja sen linnoitukset tuhottiin vuonna 790. Molemmat jälleenrakennettiin ghuridihallitsija Mu'izz al-Din Muhammad al-Samin valtakaudella. Ghurideja seurasivat ghaznavidit, joiden hallitsijoiden kausilla keskushallinto alueella oli löyhää. Myöhemmin Sialkotista tuli osa Suurmogulien valtakuntaa ja Akbarin kaudella siitä tuli sarkar-alueen keskus. 1600-luvulla Sialkotin valtasivat Jammun alueella vaikuttaneet rajputiruhtinaat. Vuonna 1799 Sialkotin ja läheisen Lahoren valtasi sikhiläinen hallitsija Randžit Singh. Kaupungissa sijaitsee edelleen sikhiläisten ensimmäisen gurun Nanakin pyhättö. Randžit Singhin kaudella kaupunkia rakennettiin ja sen kaupunkisuunnitelmasta vastasi Singhille työskennellyt italialainen kenraali Paolo Avitabile. Vuonna 1849 Sialkot liitettiin Intiassa valtaansa levittäneiden brittien alueisiin. Brittikaudella kaupungista tuli tärkeä sotilastukikohta.[2] Oma kuntansa Sialkotista tuli vuonna 1867.[1]
Sialkot liitettiin Pakistaniin Intian jaon yhteydessä vuonna 1947. Nykyisin se on oman piirikuntansa hallinnollinen keskus, sekä huomattava teollinen keskus. Pakistanissa se tunnetaan myös Muhammad Iqbalin syntymäpaikkana.[2]
Sialkotin vuoden 2017 asukasluku oli 592 604.[3]
