UDP-N-acetilglukozamin: alfa-3-D-manozid beta-1,2-N-acetilglukozaminiltransferaza I je posredujući enzim Golgijevog aparata, bitan za sintezu hibridnih i složenih N-glikana. Protein, kodiran jednim egzonom, pokazuje tipska obilježja transmembranskog proteina tipa II. Vjeruje se da je protein bitan za normalnu embriogenezu.[6]
