Мі́халаўцы (саст. руск.: Михайловцы; славацк.: Michalovce, укр.: Михайлівці, ням.: Großmichel, венг.: Nagymihály) — невялікі горад на ўсходзе Славакіі на тэрыторыі Усходнеславацкай нізіны. Насельніцтва каля 40 тыс. чалавек.

Паводле легенды папярэднікам Міхалаўцаў было легендарнае мястэчка Свіржава на беразе аднайменнай ракі, дзе венгры забілі князя Лабарца. У IX ст. тэрыторыя Земплінскага края ўваходзіла ў склад Вялікай Маравіі, з гэтых часоў захаваліся рэшткі дараманскай ратонды. У XIII ст. тэрыторыя Земпліна ўваходзіла ў склад Каралеўства Венгрыя. Першыя згадкі пра Міхалаўцы датуюцца 1244 годам, дзе згадваецца пра паселішча Міхаль. У 1867 годзе Міхалаўцам быў нададзены статус горада, і ён стаў раённым цэнтрам.
Асаблівасцю Міхалаўцаў з'яўляецца факт, што чвэрць насельніцтва з'яўляюцца праваслаўнымі і ўніятамі.
У 1910 годзе Міхалаўцы налічвалі 6120 жыхароў, з якіх венгры складалі 3792 чалавек, славакі — 1586 чалавек і немцы — 542 чалавекі.
Паводле перапісу 2001 года мястэчка налічвала 39 948 жыхароў. 94,57% насельніцтва складалі славакі, цыгане (2,24%), чэхі (0,73%) і ўкраінцы (0,47%)[1]. Рэлігійны склад насельніцтва быў наступным: рыма-каталіцтва (53,92%), грэка-каталіцтва (19,65%), без рэлігійнай прыналежнасці (9,73%) і праваслаўе (5,19%)[1].
