高本汉

高本汉（瑞典语：Klas Bernhard Johannes Karlgren，1889年10月15日—1978年10月20日），生于瑞典延雪平，汉学家，语言学家，文字学家。研究而构拟中古汉语、上古汉语的语音系统。

生平
1889年10月15日，高本汉生于瑞典的延雪平。他的父亲在当地的高中教拉丁语、希腊语。他自小便对瑞典的方言和传说感兴趣。十四岁时，基于伦德尔的体系写了一篇关于瑞典达拉纳省方言的学术文章，并于1908年发表。1907年，进入乌普萨拉大学学习，主修俄语，师从比较音韵学教授伦德尔，并立志将比较历史音韵学的方法应用于当时还没有人以此方法研究的中文上。1909年，毕业后由于瑞典内并没有人教授中文，高本汉前往圣彼得堡，用两个月的时间跟伊凤阁教授学习。1910年，高本汉到达太原，在山西大学堂教授法文、德文和英文。[1]同时研究中文及将之分为24种方言的语音体系。
1912年1月，高本汉返回欧洲，在回到乌普萨拉之前，首先在伦敦逗留、继而到巴黎居住。他在1915年于乌普萨拉撰写博士论文，这篇论文是以法语写成的，而他以后所写的学术著作则大部分使用英语书写。同年获助理教授之职。1918年，到哥德堡大学远东语言和文明系任教授。1927年，升任系主任。1928年，任中研院史语所通讯教授。1931年，任哥德堡大学校长。[2]
1939年，高本汉接替考古学家安特生成为瑞典远东古物博物馆的馆长，直至1959年为止。此公共博物馆于1926年建立，收藏了安特生于1920年代在中国有关史前考古的发现，其后博物馆亦收藏较后期以及亚洲其他地区的考古文物。高本汉与安特生多年来一直保持紧密的联络，并继承安特生担任博物馆馆刊编辑的工作，直至1970年代为止。高本汉首先在这年刊上刊登自己大部的重要著作，又或者以书籍的形式出版博物馆的专题论文系列。
1946年，高本汉开始广泛抨击当时对古中国史料粗糙的编纂方法。在一篇评论汉代以前文学、题为《Legends and Cults in Ancient China》的文章中，他指出“大部分该等论著有一个共同问题，就是在处理史料上，奇缺严谨的方法”（…a common feature to most of these treatises is a curious lack of critical method in the handling of the material）。高本汉在文中更特地批评于重构中国古代历史时毫无选择性地采用不同年代的文献的做法。
贡献
高本汉是第一位使用历史语言学这种欧洲治学方式研究中文的学者[来源请求]，他亦重构了中古汉语及上古汉语的语音。他认为最早期汉语的人称代名词会有变格的情况。另一方面，他亦提倡上古汉语有复辅音，并构拟出13组复辅音出来。
高本汉在比照过部分汉字在日语中的训读、音读（吴音）以及在粤语和中国官话中的读音，提出有不少汉字的训读，其实是更早时期的汉语音读。他所比较的汉字如下：
此外，也有一些汉字是采用了意义相近的汉字，例如：“国（くに）”的读音来自“郡（グン）”，而“纸（かみ）”的读音来自“简（カン）”。[3]
