Coriolanus est tragoedia a Gulielmi Shakesperio, ultima omnium huius auctoris, annis fere 1607-1608 composita. Primum in editione in folio (titulo Mr. William Shakespeares Comedies, Histories & Tragedies) anno 1623 edita est. Fons principalis huius tragoediae fuit "vita Coriolani" a Plutarcho scripta, quam Shakesperius in versione Thomassi North perlegit.
Apud Titum Livium Patavinum in Ab urbe condita libris, Veturia mater Coriolani Volumniaque uxor erat. In Gulielmi Shakespeare Coriolano et in Plutarchi Vitis Parallelis Virginia Coriolani uxor et mater Volumnia.
