Daftar juara sepak bola Inggris adalah daftar yang berisi para juara dari liga sepak bola divisi tertinggi di Inggris, yang mulai musim 1992–1993 disebut Liga Utama Inggris.

Sebelum Liga Utama Inggris dibentuk pada 1992, kompetisi liga sepak bola tertinggi di Inggris adalah Divisi Pertama Liga Inggris (bahasa Inggris: Football League First Division) yang merupakan divisi tertinggi dari empat divisi dari Liga Sepak Bola Inggris (EFL).

Setelah disahkannya sepak bola profesional oleh Asosiasi Sepak Bola Inggris (FA) pada 1885,[1] Liga Sepak Bola Inggris didirikan pada tahun 1888, setelah serangkaian pertemuan yang diprakarsai oleh Direktur Aston Villa William McGregor.[2] Pada akhir musim 1888-89 Preston North End adalah klub pertama yang menjadi juara setelah menyelesaikan seluruh pertandingan mereka tanpa terkalahkan.[3]
Kompetisi sepak bola profesional pertama di dunia pada tahun-tahun awal Liga didominasi oleh tim dari Utara dan Midlands Inggris, sementara dari di daerah Selatan masih mempertahankan kultur amatirnya.[4] Statusnya sebagai liga unggulan dan diakui negara, semakin menguat pada tahun 1892, ketika Football Alliance yang menjadi rivalnya selama 3 musim, digabung ke dalam Football League.[5] Klub mantan Football Alliance kemudian membentuk divisi baru yang diberi nama Divisi II
Tidak sampai tahun 1931 klub Selatan menjadi juara, ketika Arsenal di bawah asuhan Herbert Chapman menjadi juara Liga. Arsenal mencetak 127 gol dalam prosesnya, sebuah rekor klub dalam meraih gelar.[6]
Aturan penetapan upah maksimum untuk pemain dihapuskan pada tahun 1961. Hal ini mengakibatkan pergeseran kekuatan terutama bagi klub besar, terutama yang berbasis di kota-kota.[7] Setelah tahun 1962 Ipswich Town menjadi juara, butuh waktu 33 tahun kemudian sebelum klub kota lain (Blackburn Rovers, 1995) menjadi juara.
Pertimbangan keuangan menjadi pengaruh yang lebih besar mulai tahun 1992, ketika tim-tim di Divisi Pertama Football League membelot untuk kemudian membentuk FA Premier League. Hal ini menggantikan Divisi Pertama sebagai tingkat tertinggi sepak bola di Inggris,[8] dan juga karena serangkaian kontrak televisi yang lebih besar semakin menaruh kekayaan ke tangan klub papan atas dengan cara yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya sampai sekarang.[9]
Delapan klub tercatat pernah sebagai runner-up liga, tetapi tidak pernah menang. Urutan klub secara kronologis ini adalah: Bristol City, Oldham Athletic, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Blackpool, Queens Park Rangers, Watford dan terakhir Southampton.
Preston North End dan Huddersfield Town adalah satu-satunya mantan klub papan atas sebagai juara Divisi Pertama yang belum pernah bermain di Liga Primer. Semua klub yang pernah dinobatkan sebagai juara masih ada hingga saat ini dan semua berkompetisi dalam tiga tingkatan atas dalam sistem liga sepak bola Inggris.
Sheffield Wednesday adalah satu-satunya klub yang pernah berganti nama setelah memenangkan gelar liga yang sebelumnya telah dikenal sebagai The Wednesday pada saat meraih 2 gelar liga pertama dari empat gelar yang mereka miliki.
Manchester United memiliki 20 gelar dan menjadi rekor terbanyak.[10] Rival United, Liverpool berada di urutan kedua dengan 19 gelar. Liverpool mendominasi selama tahun 1970-an dan 1980-an, sementara United mendominasi pada tahun 1990-an dan 2000-an di bawah asuhan Sir Alex Ferguson. Arsenal berada di urutan ketiga dengan 13 gelar, yang mereka rebut setelah tahun 1930.
