高卡車競速遊戲(kart racing game)係一種特別嘅競速遊戲。喺設計上,高卡車競速遊戲特點係唔真實(所以嚴格嚟講,唔再算係模擬遊戲)-高卡車競速遊戲玩家揸嘅係高卡車,响駕駛機制上簡化咗,唔會用真實嘅物理,而且仲好有可能會容許玩家用道具一路賽車一路打交,又或者係啲賽道上設有一啲危險嘅機關同障礙物(現實世界嘅賽車因為安全問題,所以唔會有啲噉嘅嘢)。喺廿一世紀初,高卡車競速遊戲最出名嘅例子係《孖寶賽車系列》[6]。
