氟代烷

氟代烷（通式为 ${\ce {R-F}}$ ，其中 ${\ce {R}}$ 代表烷基），属卤代烃的一种，指烷烃中的一个或多个氢原子被氟取代的有机化合物。因此氟代烷中只有氟、氢和碳三元素。氟甲烷是结构最简单的氟代烷。氟代烷的命名跟其他卤代烷很相似，同样以IUPAC命名法来命名，找出相应烷烃作为母体，将氟视作取代基，然后以数字标明其位置^[1]。

氟代烷像醇与其他卤代烷一样，可以按照连着氟原子的碳所连的碳之数目来去分成伯（一级）、仲（二级），和叔（三级）氟代烷。例如氟甲烷为一级氟代烷。以下是各种氟代烷的结构：

氟代烷不能直接由烷烃和氟气的自由基卤代反应反应得到，因为这反应会释放大量的热，使得碳-碳键断裂，生成碳和氟化氢。但可用活性较低的氟化试剂，如三氟化钴，来制备氟代烃。^[2]^[3]这方法又名 Fowler 法（Fowler process（英语：Fowler process）），反应在高温进行。

第一步中，二氟化钴被氟化，生成三氟化钴。反应式如下：

${\ce {2 CoF2 + F2 -> 2 CoF3}}$

第二步中，引入有机化合物与三氟化钴反应:

${\ce {2CoF3 + R-H -> CoF2 + R-F + HF}}$

例如可以分别由甲烷和己烷来制备四氟化碳与全氟己烷：

${\ce {CH4 + 8CoF3->CF4 + 8CoF2 + 4HF}}$ ^[2]

${\ce {C6H14 + 28 CoF3 -> C6F14 + 14 HF + 28 CoF2}}$

反应涉及到单电子转移和碳正离子机理。^[4]由于反应中的碳正离子有机会发生重排，所以反应有机会生成很多不同产物。^[5]而三氟化钴则会变回二氟化钴，可循环再用。反应机理如下：

此外，尚有不少的自由基氟化反应，可以用来制备氟代烷。如下：

以二氟化氙为氟化试剂，与羧酸作用，发生自由基脱羧氟化反应^[6]：
在N-氟代双苯磺酰胺和氟试剂存在下，叔丁基过酸酯的热裂可生成氟代烷^[7]：
在银^[8]、锰^[9]催化剂存在下，羧酸可脱羧、氟化，生成氟代烷。光氧化还原催化剂也可以触发反应。^[10]^[11]

在亲核取代反应中，氟代烷的反应性是所有卤代烷之中最低的。碳-氟键是碳-卤键之中最强的，因此最难断键。^[12]同时，由于氢卤酸的强弱顺序为HI>HBr>HCl>HF，卤素离子（其共轭碱）的碱性顺序为 F^->Cl^->Br^->I^-。因此氟离子是卤素离子中最弱的离去基团，氟代烷在亲核取代反应中的反应速率也就是所有卤代烷之中最低的。^[13]

有些气态的氟代烷可用作冷冻剂。例子有1,1,1,2-四氟乙烷（二氟二氯甲烷的替代品）^[14]、五氟乙烷等。

在医药上，据估计有多达五分之一的药物含有氟，其中有很多药物都属于氟代烷。^[15]

很多氟代烷都是温室气体，全球暖化潜势（GWP）很高，会加剧温室效应。例如1,1,1,2-四氟乙烷的全球暖化潜势相当高，100年GWP为1430。^[16]其他属于温室气体的氟代烷有二氟甲烷^[17]、1,1,1-三氟乙烷、五氟乙烷^[18]等。
