大馬尼拉市

大馬尼拉市（英語：City of Greater Manila），簡稱為大馬尼拉，有時也稱為大馬尼拉區（Greater Manila Area，GMA），^[1] 是二戰日本佔領菲律賓（英語：Japanese occupation of the Philippines）期間建立的特許城市（英語：chartered city）。^[2] 大馬尼拉市由菲律賓自由邦管轄，是30年後費迪南德·馬科斯總統執政期間，建立馬尼拉大都會和馬尼拉大都會首長（英語：Governor of Metro Manila）行政職能的原型。

大馬尼拉市於1942年1月1日根據曼努埃爾·奎松總統簽署《第400號行政命令》作為緊急措施成立，合併馬尼拉市和奎松市，以及屬於黎剎省的加洛坎、馬卡蒂、曼達盧永、帕拉尼亞克、帕賽和仙范。^[2][3][4][5] 1941年12月24日，豪爾赫·B·巴爾加斯（英語：Jorge B. Vargas）被任命為大馬尼拉市市長；1942年1月27日，即一個月後他任命利昂·古尼托（英語：León Guinto）為繼任者。

組成大馬尼拉市的原先市鎮長官，成為合併後城市的助理市長，即相當於現在的副市長，並受大馬尼拉市市長領導。^[3][5] 其在日本扶植菲律賓第二共和國的國民議會（英語：National Assembly (Second Philippine Republic)）派有代表，屬於馬尼拉立法選區（英語：Legislative districts of Manila）轄下的不分區（英語：Manila's at-large congressional district）代表。

1945年7月26日，塞爾吉奧·奧斯米納總統簽署《第58號行政命令》，縮減領土並解散大馬尼拉市；該命令於六天後（即8月1日）生效。隨後，曾經屬於大馬尼拉市一部分的市鎮，恢復各自的戰前地位。^[6]
