島蓋

島蓋（英文：Operculum），可分為額葉島蓋、顳葉島蓋或頂葉島蓋，共同覆蓋大腦皮層中的島葉^[1][2][3]。

結構

島蓋覆蓋島葉，後者是大腦皮層的一處內陷結構，埋藏在外側溝深處^[4]。其中，額頂葉島蓋（frontoparietal operculum）位於中央前回和中央後回上^[1][5]。

胎兒一般在母體懷孕第20-22周開始形成島蓋，其中在產前發育第14-16周時，大腦表面開始出現相關的內陷結構^[6]。

功能

額葉島蓋與思考、認知以及規劃行為緊密相關^[1][7]。顳葉島蓋包含顳橫回，與聽覺相關^[1][8]。額頂葉島蓋與味覺品質、初級感覺以及運動功能相關^[1][2][9]。
