印度國民軍

印度國民軍（Indian National Army，另譯印度國軍）為自由印度臨時政府於1942年8月建立的軍事組織，指揮官為錢德拉·鮑斯。這支軍隊開始時主要由日軍俘獲的英屬印度軍隊戰俘組成，後來也有許多日本控制的馬來亞和緬甸的印度人自願加入該組織。該組織的目標是要從英國手中解放印度，所以在「二戰」日軍占領緬甸期間，曾協助日軍在英帕爾戰役（Battle of Imphal）中對不列顛印度軍隊的作戰，也有一些人參加了德國黨衛軍外國志願軍。

後續

錢德拉·鮑斯的軍隊以戰俘為主，其中也有女性組成特遣隊，該特遣隊以詹西王后為名，1945年大戰末期英國人從印度國民軍當中拔擢三位軍官，他們分別是印度教徒、穆斯林和錫克教徒，希望藉此壓制廣泛示威行動所引發的不滿。^[1]
