闭央圆唇元音（Ʉ）[1]是母音的一种，使用于许多口语语言之中，其国际音标的符号为 ⟨ʉ⟩，另一种符号为 ⟨ü/ue⟩，相对应的X-SAMPA符号则为 ⟨}⟩。

在很多语言中发此音时会突起嘴唇。但也有少数情况嘴唇是扁平的。
- 其元音高度为闭，这意指舌头的位置会尽量接近齿龈，但不会阻碍气流而被归类为子音。
- 其元音舌位是央，表示舌的位置是在央元音的地方，大约在前元音和后元音中间。
- 其元音圆唇度为突出，即将嘴角聚拢，且嘴唇内侧向外露出。
- 英语个别口音 - boot /bʉ̟ːt/ （船）
- 爱尔兰语 - ciúin /cʉ̠ːnʲ/ （安静）
- 挪威语 - hus /hʉ͍ːs/ （房子）
- 威尔士语 - dŵr /dʉr/ （水）
虽然国际语音学学会较偏好在描述元音高度时使用“开”和“闭”，但许多语言学家也会用“高”和“低”来描述舌头相对于口腔上部的距离。
