职业运动员（英语：Professional athletes），通常指专职于某项运动上，经由奖金赛而获利、赚取收入运动员。其从事的体育运动则称为职业运动（英语：Professional sports）[1]。在一些公开比赛，有时会考量到运动员的实力差距，而禁止职业运动员参加。
