历史

《每日野兽》在2008年10月6日上线，属IAC/InterActiveCorp旗下。^[2] 其名来自伊夫林·沃1938年出版的小说《独家新闻》（Scoop）中的一份虚构报纸。^[3]^[4]^[5]

2010年11月12日，《每日野兽》和《新闻周刊》宣布合并，形成新闻周刊每日野兽公司（The Newsweek Daily Beast Company）。2013年8月3日，IAC将《新闻周刊》卖给《国际财经时报》的母公司IBT Media。^[6]
