మధ్య ప్రదేశ్ (Madhya Pradesh) (హిందీ:मध्य प्रदेश) - పేరుకు తగినట్లే భారతదేశం మధ్యలో ఉన్న ఒక రాష్ట్రం. దీని రాజధాని నగరం భోపాల్. ఇంతకు పూర్వం దేశంలో వైశాల్యం ప్రకారం మధ్యప్రదేశ్ అతిపెద్ద రాష్ట్రంగా ఉండేది. కాని 2000 నవంబరు 1 న మధ్యప్రదేశ్లోని కొన్నిభాగాలను వేరుచేసి ఛత్తీస్గఢ్ రాష్ట్రాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
