Onesiforo

Onesiforo (jina la Kigiriki lenye maana ya "mleta faida") alikuwa mwanamume Mkristo wa karne ya 1 aliyetajwa na Mtume Paulo kwa shukrani katika Waraka wa pili kwa Timotheo 1:16-18.

Sababu ni kwamba alimsaidia sana alipokuwa Efeso, halafu akamfuata hadi Roma mpaka akafaulu kumuona na kumfariji bila kuonea aibu minyororo yake.^[1][2][3]

Kwa hiyo Paulo alimtakia huruma ya Mungu pamoja na familia yake.^[4]

Inasemekana Onesiforo alipata kuwa askofu wa Kolofon (Asia Ndogo), halafu wa Korintho. Hatimaye alifia dini mjini Parium (karibu na Efeso)^[5].
