Kitabu cha Yoeli ni kimojawapo kati ya vitabu 12 vya Manabii wadogo ambavyo, pamoja na vingine vingi, vinaunda Tanakh.

Nabii Yoeli alivyochorwa na Michelangelo kwenye dari ya Kikanisa cha Sisto IV (1508–1512).

Hivyo ni pia sehemu ya Agano la Kale katika Biblia ya Kikristo.

Mtume Paulo alitumia utabiri huohuo kuhusu Wayahudi na watu wa mataifa mengine pia (taz. Yoe 3:5 na Rom 10:13).
