Kinkaku-ji (Japanese: 金閣寺) or Rokuon-ji (Japanese: 鹿苑寺) is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan. It is registered as a World Heritage Site as part of Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto.
