The Cathedral of Saint Mary of Girona is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Girona, located in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. Its interior includes the widest Gothic nave in the world.[2] It has a width of 22 metres (72 ft).[2] In size it is second only to St. Peter's Basilica.[2] By comparison, the width of the nave of Reims is 14.65 metres (48.1 ft), Saint-Étienne de Sens, 15.25 metres (50.0 ft) m and 12 metres (39 ft), in Notre Dame de Paris.
