Nantes (French pronunciation: [nɑ̃t]; Breton: Naoned, [ˈnãunət]; Gallo: Naunnt) is a ceety in Wast Fraunce, locatit on the Loire River, 50 km (31 mi) frae the Atlantic coast.[1] The ceety is the 6t lairgest in Fraunce, while its metropolitan aurie ranks 6t wi nearly 900,000 indwallers.[2]
