Trygve Skaug (født 1985) er en norsk låtskriver, musiker og poet fra Trøgstad. Han var låtskriver og vokalist i bandet StMorritz fra 2006 til 2012.
Han har vært deltager i TV 2-serien Hver gang vi møtes.
Skaug har en bachelorgrad i administrasjon og ledelse fra Høgskolen i Oslo og Akershus.[1]
Nominert til Spellemannprisen 2017 i klassen «Viser» for Sanger du skal få når jeg dør.[2]
Tildelt Tekstforfatterfondet (2015, 2020),[3][4] TONO-fondet (2015, 2016, 2020)[5][6][7], Nopa-stipendet (2020)[8] og Kraftprisen (2015)[9]
Tildelt Bjørg Vik-prisen i 2021.
Skaug er ambassadør for hjelpeorganisasjonen Dråpen i havet.[10] Han er svært engasjert i bistandsarbeid i Manila, Romania og flyktningkrisen i Europa gjennom organisasjonene Dear Sarena og Star of hope.[11]
Han har også blant annet laget «Ser alt du er», en poesi- og fotoutstilling, med fotograf Håvard Bjelland, initiert av Kirkens Nødhjelp.[12]
I 2017 ga han ut Frelsesarmeens julelåt Ei stjerne som deg.[13]
Skaug er bosatt i Ørje og har tre barn.[1]
