Raigad festning ligger i Raigad-distriktet i Maharashtra, India. Den ble tidligere omtalt som Rairee eller Rairy og er en av de største festningene på Deccan-platået.[1]

Mye av forsvarsverket på Raigad ble bygget av Chhatrapati Shivaji som gjorde det til sin hovedstad i 1674 etter å ha blitt kronet til kongen av Maratha-riket, som senere utviklet seg til Maratha-imperiet, som til slutt dekket store deler av det vestlige og sentrale India. Festningen ligger 1356 moh i fjellkjeden Sahyadri. Det ligger på en ås 820 meter over terrenget og det går en trapp med ca. 1730 trinn opp til festningen, det er også en taubane her som har en lengde på 750 meter og en høydeforskjell på 400 meter.[1][2]
Kun grunnpilarene av hoved-palasset står igjen fordi palasset var bygget i tre, men det er ruinene etter mange andre bygningene. Den eneste veien inn i festningen går gjennom "Maha Darwaja" (stor dør) som de den gang stengte ved solnedgang, døren er ca. 20 meter høy.[2]
Fra festningen kan man se henrettelsespunktet kalt "Takmak Tok", en klippe hvor dømte fanger ble kastet i døden. Festningen har også utsikt over en kunstig innsjø kjent som "Ganga Sagar" sjøen.
