Kronprins Olavs allé er en gate ved Øya i Trondheim som går nordvestover fra Krogness gate parallelt med Nidelva før den vender nordover mot Klostergata. Den fungerer som adkomstvei til boligbebyggelse i området, som i hovedsak består av eldre eneboliger.

Gaten fikk sitt navn i 1906 og ble oppkalt etter daværende Kronprins Olav (1903–1991). Eiendommene i området er preget av eldre villabebyggelse som ble reist like før første verdenskrig. Området var på første halvdel av 1900-tallet regnet for å være et av byens mest fornemme strøk.[1]
Gaten har flere bygninger som er tegnet av kjente arkitekter.[2] Felles for disse arkitektene er at de var tilknyttet NTH og enkelte av bygningene ble også tegnet som boliger til seg selv. Samtlige bygninger er inspirert av lokal bygningstradisjon med trekk fra 1700-årenes barokk og klassisisme fra 1800-årene. Bygningene er reist i tre med halvannen etasje i tråd med bygningsloven av 1906. Et delområde på 12 eiendommer ved Kronprins Olavs allé er av Riksantikvaren regnet for å være et kulturmiljø og landskap av nasjonal interesse, men er ikke vernet.[3]
