På Trysilfjellet er Norges største skianlegg med 29 skiheiser og 65 nedfarter på til sammen 70 km. På 1 100 moh. ligger skianleggets høyeste løypedel. På 1 125 moh. ligger anleggets øverste heis, Toppekspressen, hvor også lokalradioen i Trysil og Engerdal, TrysilRadioen har sin hovedsender på FM 103,7 MHz. Anleggets største fallhøyde er på 685 meter.[2]
Trysilfjellet er oppdelt i 2 områder, Trysil Turistsenter og Trysil Høyfjellssenter. Trysil Turistsenter ligger kun to kilometer fra Trysil sentrum, og herfra går det to 6-seters stolheiser opp til skianlegget. Trysil Høyfjellssenter på Fagertoppen, ligger i skiområdet Fageråsen oppe på høyfjellet, 10 kilometer fra Trysil sentrum. Fagertoppen, som er litt mindre, er perfekt for småbarnsfamilier. Den bratteste bakken er Eksperten i Høgegga med opp til 45 grader helling.
Trysilfjellet ligger 210 kilometer eller om lag 2,5 timers bilkjøring fra Oslo.
