Sehesteds gate (3, 2–6) er en liten sentrumsgate i Oslo. Gaten går fra Kristian IVs gate til Kristian Augusts gate parallelt med og mellom Universitetsgata og Rosenkrantz' gate.[1]

Midt i gateløpet ligger Sehesteds plass, ferdig i 1880.[2] Arkitekt Paul Due kjøpte i 1875 rimelige løkketomter som skulle bli Hannibal Sehesteds gate. Paul Due tegnet de karakterisktiske nyrenessansebygningene som omkranser plassen, og som sto ferdige i 1880. Midt på plassen står en fontene, i den står Bronsefiguren Evig liv, utført av billedhugger Ørnulf Bast. Forlagene Aschehoug og Gyldendal holder til på hver sin side av plassen, og «Sehesteds plass» oppfattes ofte som en metafor for norsk bokbransje.[3]
