Royal Artillery Barracks i Woolwich i sørøst i London var hovedkvarteret til Royal Artillery i den britiske hæren. Forlegningen er kjent for å ha den lengste sammenhengende fasaden i georgiansk arkitektur i Storbritannia, i tillegg til at den har den største oppstillingsplassen av alle britiske militærforlegninger.[trenger referanse]

The Barracks ble bygd mellom 1776 og 1802 på en tomt med utsikt over Woolwich Common. Artilleriets bruk av forlegningen ble avsluttet da 16 Regiment, Royal Artillery forlot forlegningen i juli 2007 etter å ha vært stasjonert der i 291 år.[1]
Skyteøvelsene under Sommer-OL 2012 og Paralympiske sommerleker 2012 i London ble arrangert på midlertidige baner på Royal Artillery Barracks.[2] Opprinnelig var skyteøvelsene planlagt lagt til National Shooting Centre i Bisley i Surrey, men planen ble endret etter at IOC uttrykte skepsis til antall øvelser arrangørene hadde planlagt å legge utenfor byen.
Budsjettet for olympiaprosjektet var 18 millioner pund. Etter de olympiske og paralympiske leker skal de midlertidige skytehallene flyttes til andre steder i Storbritannia.
