Reidar Myhre (født 15. mai 1907, død 16. juli 1983[4]) var en norsk motstandsmann under andre verdenskrig, og etterretningssjef i Milorgs distrikt 13 – «Stor-Oslo».[3] Reidar Myhre anerkjennes som en av de viktigste innen norsk motstandskamp.[3]

Myhre var en av de mest sentrale motstandsmennene under andre verdenskrig. Selv beskrev han sin rolle slik: «Jeg var edderkoppen som satt helt innerst i nettet». Han leverte blant annet informasjon til britenes etterretningsorgan Secret Intelligence Service, bedre kjent som MI6.[3]
Myhre giftet seg med en annen motstandskjemper, Edel Ottesen, i Frogner kirke i 1944, under forrettelse av Ludwig Schübeler, medlem av den illegale kirkeledelsen. Da giftet hun seg med han under hans dekknavn «Per Halvorsen». Edel Ottesen fant først ut hans ekte navn etter krigen. Tillatelse til ekteskapet ble gitt av eksilledelsen i London.[3]
I april 1945 ble Myhre fengslet i Møllergata 19. Arrestasjonen antas å ha vært skyldt en tabbe begått av motstandssjefen i London. Grunnet Myhres viktige rolle i Milorg ble det lagt planer om å befri Myhre, og i verste fall drepe han før han kunne bli torturert til å røpe hemmeligheter. Man regnet i Milorg at han ville føres til Grini etter torturen, og Rolf Ottesen, Myhres svoger, samt hans gamle skolekamerat Rolf Bøhm skulle skyte ham og de tyske gestapistene på vei til Grini, fordi Myhre visste for mye. Likvideringen ble aldri noe av grunnet at hverken Gestapo, eller andre tyske instanser i Norge, forstod hvilken sentral rolle Myhre hadde i Milorg. Myhre satt i Møllergata 19 til dagen før kapitulasjonen, og ble frigjort etter et lite opphold på Grini.[3]
I nyere tid har det dukket opp en påstand om at Myhre visste om Filipstad-ulykken før den skjedde, og at han ba sin sønn Reidar se mot kaia før eksplosjonen, [3] og at han muligens kan ha orkestrert hele operasjonen.[5] Denne påstanden er imidlertid omstridt, og historien rimer ikke uten videre med Myhres legendariske ry for hemmelighold.
