Lyngsvatnet[3] er en innsjø i kommunene Forsand og Hjelmeland i Rogaland. Innsjøen er magasin for Lysebotn kraftverk, og vannstanden reguleres mellom 686 og 636 moh som en følge av dette.

Elva Evardalsåna fra øst, og elva i Falkadalen fra nordøst er Lyngsvatnets naturlige tilløp. Innsjøens naturlige utløp er til Lyngsåna, som renner ned Rykanfossen og går senere sammen med Storåna ved gården Nes i Hjelmeland.
Innsjøen demmes opp av tre steinfyllingsdammer, to ved innsjøens utløp i vest, Lyngsvatn Hoveddam og Norddammen eller Lyngsvatn Sekundærdam Nord, og en mot sør, Håhellerdammen. Oppdemmingen begynte i 1964, da Lyngsvatn Hoveddam og Norddammen ble bygd. I 1975 ble dammene oppgradert til det de er i dag, i tillegg ble Håhellerdammen bygd.
