John Collett (født 22. september 1758 i Christiania, død 3. februar 1810 samme sted) var en norsk forretningsmann og tilhørte den opprinnelig engelske Collett-slekten. Stamfaren, trelasthandler James Collett, slo seg ned i Norge i 1683. John Collett kom hjem fra England i 1792 for å overta familiebedriften Collett & Søn og bosatte seg i familiens bygård, Collettgården i Kirkegata 15. Han var blant byens rikeste menn og en sentral skikkelse i selskaps- og kulturliv. I 1793 ble han eier av Ullevål gård, som han utviklet til et mønsterbruk med imponerende hage- og parkanlegg. Der drev han også landbruksskole for unge bønder for å spre kunnskap om nye og mer rasjonelle metoder i landbruket.

Hans gjestfrihet var stor, og mange utenlandske gjester har skildret den storslåtte bevertningen og underholdningen på Ullevål. I hagen skal han ha hatt en kunstig «kilde» hvor man fant vin i stedet for vann. Han eide også gården Flateby i Enebakk, hvor han holdt legendariske selskaper for Christiania-sosieteten i jakttiden og julen. I 1807 tok han initiativ til stiftelsen av «Aggers Sogneselskab».
Collett var en periode en av borgerrepresentantene i Christiania – «De 12 eligerede menn».
