Holyrood (Skotsk-gælisk: Taigh an Ròid, skotsk: Halyruid[1]) er et område i Skottlands hovedstad Edinburgh. Det ligger øst for byens sentrum med enden av Royal Mile. Holyrood var tidligere en egen burgh i Canongate før byen ble utvidet i 1856. Området hadde da en rekke bryggerier og et flintglassverk på slutten av 1700- og 1800-tallet. Den vestlige delen av Holyrood, bortsett fra Holyrood Park, blir i dag kalt Canongate og Dumbiedykes.
