Great Ouse er en elv i East Anglia i England. Den er 240 km lang, hvilket gjør den til den lengste vannveien i East Anglia og den femte lengste elven i Storbritannia.

Elven har flere kilder nær landsbyene Syresham og Sulgrave i Northamptonshire. Den renner gjennom Brackley, Buckingham, Milton Keynes i Stony Stratford, Newport Pagnell og Olney, Bedford, St. Neots, Godmanchester, Huntingdon, St. Ives, Ely, Littleport og Downham Market før den renner ut i The Wash ved King's Lynn.

Navnet Ouse er fra keltisk eller urkeltisk *Udso-s,[1] og betyr antagelig ganske enkelt «vann» eller langsomtrennende elv.[2] De nedre elveløpene av Great Ouse er også kjent «Old West River» og «Ely Ouse», men alle elvene er ofte referert til som ganske enkelt Ouse i daglig bruk. Det beskrivende tilleggsordet «Great», som betyr stor, eller i tilfelle av en elv at den er lang, er benyttet for å skille den fra andre elver som også heter Ouse.
