Godmanchester er en by og verdslig sogn i grevskapet Cambridgeshire i England med rundt 5 500 innbyggere. Byen ligger på sørsiden av elven Great Ouse, sør for den større byen Huntingdon, og ved motorveien A14.

Byen ligger på samme sted som den romerske byen Durovigutum.[1] Den fikk charter av kong Johan i 1212, skjønt den hadde vært en markedsby og kongelig gods for en del år allerede. Arkeologi har påvist forhistorisk bosetning før den ble en by i romersk tid. Bosetningen lå ved et veikryss for romerske veier, ved Ermine Street, Via Devana (fra Cambridge, mellom Colchester og Chester) og en militær vei fra Sandy i Bedfordshire, som alle passerte gjennom Godmanchester. I motsetningen til Huntingdon har det blitt avdekket store mengder arkeologiske funn i midten av Godmanchester. Her det to bevarte områder[2] med et stort antall tudorhus i tømmerrammer, den største er Tudor Farm, datert til rundt 1600 og restaurert i 1995. Farm Hall, der tyske fysikere med antatt tilknytning til atombombeforskning i Nazi-Tyskland som del av Operation Epsilon (1945), ligger i Godmanchester.
