Gjerdingen er en innsjø i kommunene Jevnaker og Lunner i Nordmarka i Akershus. Vannet tilhørte ikke opprinnelig Akerselvas nedbørfelt, men en tunnel anlagt mellom 1900 og 1909 mellom Gjerdingen og Daltjuven i sørøst, og en tunnel videre derfra til Store Sandungen, gjør imidlertid at Maridalsvannet også mottar vann fra dette vassdraget.

Demningen i Gjerdingen ble bygget i 1913. Vannet er regulert med om lag 7 m. Gjerdingselva renner fra Gjerdingen til vannet Store Skillingen. Gjerdingen gård på Hollendertangen midt i vannet er en tradisjonsrik nordmarksgård og finneplass.
