Tsjekkisk radio (tsjekkisk: Český rozhlas, forkortet ČRo) er Tsjekkias statlige radiokringkaster og driver fire riksdekkende og tretten regionale radiokanaler. Radioselskapet begynte sine sendinger 18. mai 1923 og er den eldste eksisterende kringkasteren på kontinentet – og den nest eldste i Europa etter BBC.[2] Selskapet finansieres hovedsakelig av en kringkastingsavgift samt noe salg av reklame og programrettigheter.[3]

Český rozhlas ble etablert 18. mai 1923 som Československý rozhlas (Tsjekkoslovakias radio). Den første sendingen kom fra et speidertelt utenfor Praha og ble kalt Radiojournal.[4] Siden flyttet kanalen hovedkontor flere ganger innenfor Praha.[4]
5. mai 1945 sendte kanalen en melding på radio som satte i gang Praha-offensiven.[2] Samme år etablerte kanalen regionale studioer i byene Plzeň, České Budějovice, Hradec Králové og Ústí nad Labem.[5]
Československý rozhlas ble overtatt av sovjetiske styrker i august 1968, da Warszawapakten invaderte Tsjekkoslovakia.[2]
I 1991 ble selskapet omdøpt til dagens navn og ble samtidig en uavhengig organisasjon. Radioen finansieres fremdeles i hovedsak av det offentlige – hentet inn gjennom en kringkastingsavgift.[5]
