Évry er ein kommune i dei sørlege forstadane til Paris i Frankrike. Han ligg 25 km frå Paris sentrum i den «nye byen» Évry Ville Nouvelle, oppretta i 1960-åra, og har rundt 50 000 innbyggjarar.

Opphavleg vart kommunen kalla Évry-sur-Seine (som tyder «Évry ved Seine»). Namnet Évry kjem av det keltiske namnet Eburacon eller Eburiacos, som tyder «eigedomen til Eburos», eit gallisk slektsnamn, som kanskje var leiaren av ei gallisk stamme her før romarane erobra Gallia. Etter erobringa vart namnet endra til Apriacum, så Avriacum og seinare Evriacum.
I 1881 vart namnet på kommunen endra til Évry-Petit-Bourg etter krav frå entreprenøren Paul Decauville, som eigde Ateliers de Petit-Bourg, eit stort smelteverk som låg i Évry. Fabrikken hadde fått namn etter grenda Petit-Bourg der fabrikken vart bygd. I 1965 vart namnet korta ned til Évry.
