Tractor Vaporising Oil (TVO) var eit drivstoff for traktorar som vart innført i Storbritannia og Australia etter 2. verdskrig. Grunnen til dette var at det var avgift på bensin, men ikkje på parafin. Nokre traktorar vart difor leverte med parafinmotorar, som var modifiserte bensinmotorar. Bensinmotorar kan byggast om til parafindrift, men på grunn av at parafin har oktantal 0 må kompresonsforholdet reduserast. Dette krev at topplokket vert bytta ut, noko som er kostbart.
TVO var parafin tilsett nokre aromatisk bindingar som opphavleg finst i råolje men som vert fjerna under framstilling av parafin. TVO hadde eit oktantal på 55 til 70, så bensinmotorar kunne køyrast på det utan å redusera kompresjonen[1]. Etter 1950 hadde dei fleste nye traktorar dieselmotorar, men mange gamle traktorar var framleis i bruk, så i Storbritannia var TVO å få kjøpt heilt fram til 1974.
