Chibok er ein by og eit Local Government Area i Borno-staten i Nigeria. Chibok ligg sør i delstaten. Han har rundt 66 000 innbyggjarar (2006) på ei flatevidd av 1 350 km². Han tilhøyrer den tradisjonelle staten Borno-emiratet.[1]

Dei fleste innbyggjarane i Chibok har kibaku (også kalla chibok) som morsmål.[2] Dei er hovudsakleg kristne, med eit mindretal muslimar.[2][3]
I april 2014 blei over tohundre skulejenter bortførte frå Chibok av den militante islamistgruppa Boko Haram.[4][5][6][2] 14. november 2014 blei det meld at Boko Haram hadde teke kontroll over staden. Eit par dagar seinare melde den nigerianske hæren at han hadde teke byen tilbake med hjelp frå lokale militsfolk.[7]
