വുഡ്രൊ വിൽസൺ

അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളുടെ ഇരുപത്തി എട്ടാമത്തെ പ്രസിഡന്റായിരുന്നു വുഡ്രൊ വിൽസൺ എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന തോമസ് വുഡ്രൊ വിൽസൺ - Thomas Woodrow Wilson. 1913 മുതൽ 1921 വരെ അമേരിക്കയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റായിരുന്നു വിൽസൺ. വെർജീനിയയിലെ സ്റ്റൗൺടണിൽ 1856 ഡിസംബർ 28ന് ജനിച്ചു. ജോൺ ഹോപ്കിൻസ് സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് പൊളിറ്റിക്കൽ സയൻസിൽ ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് നേടി. വിവിധ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രൊഫസറായി സേവനമനുഷ്ടിച്ചിരുന്നു. 1902 മുതൽ 1910 വരെ പ്രിൻസ്റ്റൺ സർവ്വകലാശാലയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റായിരുന്നു. 1910ൽ ന്യൂ ജെഴ്‌സിയുടെ ഗവർണർ സ്ഥാനാർഥിയായി മത്സരിച്ചു. ന്യൂ ജെഴ്‌സിയുടെ 34ാമത് ഗവർണറായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു. 1911 മുതൽ 1913വരെ ന്യൂ ജെഴ്‌സിയുടെ ഗവർണറായി സേവനമനുഷ്ടിച്ചു.^[1]
