ഇസ്ലാമിലെ നാലാം ഖലീഫയായ അലി ബിനു അബീ താലിബിൻറെ മാതാവ് ആയിരുന്നു ഫാത്തിമ ബിൻത്ത് അസദ് (c. 68 BH – 4 AH ; c. 555–626 CE) (അറബി: فاطمة بنت أسد, Fāṭimah bint ʾAsad)
ഖുറൈസ് വംശത്തിൽ ഹാംശിം ഗോത്രത്തിലെ അസദ് ബിൻ ഹാഷിമിൻറെയും ഫാത്തിമ ബിൻത്ത് ഖൈസിൻറെയും മകളായിരുന്നു ഫാത്തിമ ബിൻത് അസദ് Fatimah bint Qays, hence a member of the Hashim clan of the Quraysh.[1]
കസിൻ ആയ അബു താലിബ് ഇബിൻ അബ്ദുൽ മുത്തലിബ് നെയാണ് വിവാഹം ചെയ്തത്.ഏഴ് കുട്ടികളുടെ മാതാവായിരുന്നു അവർ.
