ലെസോത്തോ (ഉച്ചാരണം [lɪˈsuːtu], ഔദ്യോഗിക നാമം: കിങ്ങ്ഡം ഓഫ് ലെസ്സോട്ടോ), നാലുവശവും സൌത്ത് ആഫ്രിക്കയാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ട ഒരു രാജ്യമാണ്. 30,000 ചതുരശ്ര കി.മീ മാത്രം വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള ഈ രാജത്തെ ആകെ ജനസംഖ്യ 20 ലക്ഷം ആണ്[1]. മാസിറു ആണ് തലസ്ഥാനം. ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കോളനി ആയിരുന്ന ഈ രാജ്യം സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യലബ്ധിക്കു മുൻപ് ബാസുട്ടോലാന്റ് എന്നാണ് അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്. 1966-ൽ യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിങ്ങ്ഡത്തിൽ നിന്നും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ലഭിച്ചപ്പോൾ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ പേര് ലെസോത്തോ എന്ന് മാറ്റി. കോമൺ‌വെൽത്ത് ഓഫ് നേഷൻസിലെ അംഗമാണ് ലെസ്സോട്ടോ. ലെസ്സോട്ടോ എന്ന വാക്കിന്റെ ഏകദേശ അർത്ഥം "സോട്ടോ ഭാഷ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നാട്" എന്നാണ്.
