ആഫ്രിക്കൻ രാജ്യമായ സൊമാലിയയുടെ തലസ്ഥാനമാണ് മൊഗാദിഷു (/ˌmɔːɡəˈdiːʃuː/;[2][3] Somali: Muqdisho; അറബി: مقديشو Maqadīshū). പ്രാദേശികമായി ഹമാർ എന്നും വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഇവിടത്തെ ജനസംഖ്യ 2015-ൽ 21,20,000 ആണ്[1]. സൊമാലിയയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നഗരമായ മൊഗാദിഷു ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാസമുദ്രതീരത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാ സമുദ്രത്തിലെ വെളുത്ത മുത്ത് എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന മൊഗാദിഷു നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി ഒരു തുറമുഖ നഗരമാണ്.
