ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ (ഔദ്യോഗിക നാമം: റിപബ്ലിക്‌ ഓഫ്‌ ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ) (/ˌɪndəˈniːʒə/ ^ⓘ) ഏഷ്യൻ വൻകരയിലെ ഒരു രാജ്യമാണ്‌. ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ മുസ്ലീം ജനസംഖ്യയുള്ള രാജ്യമാണിത്‌. ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ലോകത്തെ നാലാമത്തെ രാജ്യമാണ്‌ ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ. പസഫിക്‌ മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിലെ ദ്വീപുകളുടെയും ഉപദ്വീപുകളുടെയും കൂട്ടമാണ്‌ ഈ രാജ്യം. ഇന്തോനേഷ്യയിലെ പകുതിയോളം പേർ അധിവസിക്കുന്നത് ജാവാദ്വീപിലാണ്. സുമാത്ര, ബോർണിയോ, പപുവ, സുലവേസി, ബാലി എന്നിവയാണ് മറ്റു പ്രധാന ദ്വീപുകൾ. മലേഷ്യ, ഈസ്റ്റ്‌ ടിമോർ, പപ്പുവ ന്യൂഗിനിയ എന്നിവയാണ്‌ അയൽ രാജ്യങ്ങൾ. ജക്കാർത്തയാണ്‌ തലസ്ഥാനം, ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നഗരവും ഇതുതന്നെ.

ഇന്തോനേഷ്യൻ ദ്വീപസമൂഹങ്ങൾ ഏഴാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലെ ശ്രീവിജയ സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ കാലം മുതൽക്കെ ഒരു പ്രധാന കച്ചവട കേന്ദ്രമായി അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യ , ചൈന എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളുമായിട്ടായിരുന്നു പ്രധാന കച്ചവടം. ഇതിന്റെ ഫലമായി തദ്ദേശീയർ ഹിന്ദു , ബുദ്ധ സംസ്കാരങ്ങളെ സ്വാംശീകരിക്കുകയും ഇവിടെ ഹിന്ദു , ബുദ്ധ നാട്ടു രാജ്യങ്ങളുണ്ടാവുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഇപ്പോഴും ഹിന്ദു സംസ്ക്കാരം നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന ഇൻഡോനേഷ്യയയിലെ ഒരു ദ്വീപ് ആണ് ബാലിദ്വീപ് . ബാലിദ്വീപ് ഇൻഡോനേഷ്യയയിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാന വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രം കൂടിയാണ്.ജോക്കോ വിഡൊഡൊ ആണ് ഇൻഡോനേഷ്യയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റ്.
